The Open Squad
The Open Squad is a product team that has been building Telegram Mini Apps, bots, and infrastructure services for the Telegram ecosystem since 2023. Our products serve 60,000+ daily active users across 50+ countries; since launch the platform has processed over 500,000 user tasks.
Our mission
Turn Telegram from a messenger into a full platform for earning, payments, and commerce. We build products that give users fair access to in-Telegram monetization, and give businesses a direct channel to an audience already living inside the messenger.
Story
We started with one observation: Telegram is the fastest-growing platform after TON itself, yet native earning tools inside it are scarce. In 2023 we launched the first version of The Open Earn — a bot with short tasks and real payouts in TON and Telegram Stars. Within a year it grew to 60K DAU, and we shipped a suite of four connected products: wallet, escrow, advertiser platform, and awards.

Tech stack
Frontend: Next.js 15 (App Router, full SSR), TypeScript, SASS Modules, next-intl. Backend: Python 3.12+, FastAPI, aiogram for bots, Redis for hot caches (<50ms), PostgreSQL. Infra: Ubuntu, nginx, Let's Encrypt, systemd. Blockchain: TON integration for payouts and on-chain verification.
